Idaho has increased weights available for use. Common combinations to take advantage of these increased weights are B-Trains and tri-drive tractors with tridem trailers. These combinations can carry weights of up to 105,500 lbs on the interstate, and can they can operate on designated state roads at even higher weights of 129,000 lbs. Additionally, 53’ trailers are not permitted on state roads, trailers being limited to 48’ on state roads.
