Vermont Tractor Trailer Weight and Dimension Limits

Vermont has standard rules on interstates, but higher weights are available on state highways. Permits for divisible loads are available for gross weights up to 99,000 lbs on state roads. The trucks utilizing these gross weights are 6 axle semi trucks. In addition to higher gross weights which are available by permit, higher axle loadings are available for all trucks on state highways. One time trip permits are also available for interstate travel, but only to 90,000 lbs.
