Iowa has very standard weights and measures, but there are increased weights available for agricultural and construction trucks, which are not yet included in the Big Truck Guide database. Also, Iowa tandems are 1” wider than for regular tandem groups. LCVs are permitted only in the city limits of Sioux City, IA, under the operating conditions present in South Dakota and Nebraska, both states which border the city limits.
