Manitoba Big Rig Trucks – Weight and Dimension Limits

Manitoba allows B-Trains up to 63,500 lbs on important highways, with weight reductions off of major roads on axles and gross weights. 6 axle semi trucks can gross out at 47,000 kgs. LCVs are permitted in Manitoba, with turnpike doubles and Rocky Mountain doubles permitted to operate. LCV routes are very specific, with lists of intersections that combinations are allowed to maneuver through. LCV drivers must take a special safety course as well to operate in Western Canada. Watch out for reduced weights on spread tandems and on super single tires.
